Ingredients:
1 Small pumpkin
2 T of Honey
2 T Apple cider
2 T Melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º
Wash the pumpkin well, and place it on a flat, oven-proof dish and bake it for about 1½
hours

Remove it from the oven, and cut a hole about 4 inches in diameter in the top of the pumpkin. Remove this little "hat" and scrape out the seeds and strings, but leave the flesh intact.

Mix together the honey, cider, and butter, and pour it into the pumpkin, "basting" the flesh as best as you can.
Return it to the oven for 35-40 minutes longer, basting it occasionally.

Serve the pumpkin whole, or scoop out the flesh in individual portions at the table, or cut it up like a melon. Pour a bit of the cider sauce over each serving.

This dish is for drama, flare, impression, and attention. It's fun, it looks cool, and it's a good way to introduce the Fall season.
