1 lb. Ground beef

1 lg. (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes

28 oz. water

12 oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

¼ head cabbage, coarsely shredded

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef. Drain and pat dry with paper towel to remove as much grease as possible. Set aside.

2. In a large pot, combine crushed tomato, water, frozen mixed vegetables and shredded cabbage.

3. Add the ground beef and simmer for about one hour.

4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5. If soup tastes too acid-y from the tomatoes, toss in a tablespoon of sugar.
