3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 c. + 1 T. oil
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
4 oz. chocolate chips
5 T. sugar
1 T. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, eggs and oil.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Gradually add 2 cups of the flour mixture.
4. Fold in the chips and the nuts.
5. Add the remaining flour.
6. Grease two cookie pans. Preheat oven to 375º.
7. Flour your hands. Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a bit then shape the dough on the cookie pan to a loaf that's 3 inches wide. Put two loaves on a cookie sheet.
8. Mix the 5 T. sugar and the 1 T. cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture on the top of the loaves.
9. Bake 20 minutes in a. Then cut into ½ inch slices. Put the cookies on their side and toast 15 minutes.
