2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 cups warm milk
8 ounce dried beef (dried deer works good too)
pepper

1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour all at once to form a roux. Whisk in milk, a little at a time, increase heat to medium, and cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in beef and season with pepper, heat through and serve over toast. Usually doesn't need salt because the meat is usually salty enough.

My Granny B always made this for us and we really enjoyed it. You can also make this white sauce and add left over turkey or chicken or sausage and eat over biscuits.
