Every fifteen days, add on cup sugar and one cup very well drained canned, never fresh, fruit. Avoid any fruit containing benzoate of soda as a preservative (maraschino cherries for example) as it will will the yeast. Stir twice a week, allowing it to air a bit. Do not refrigerate or permit it to get below 2 cups.
