1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Tbsp Vegetable Shortening (Crisco)
2 Cups Cake Flour
1 Cup Milk
1 tsp Vanilla

1-2 Plums, Firm & Sliced.

Cinnamon sugar mix
¾ cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Cinnamon

*Pre-Heat oven to 375ºF*
*Grease of use non-stick spray a 8" cake pan*

1. Clean, core & slice plums. Set aside.

2. Whisk eggs together in a small bowl. set aside.

3. Melt your shortening nad mix in the vanilla. Set aside.

3. Heat the milk & sugar in a medium pot until luke warm take off the heat.(Not to hot or you will curdle the eggs). Pour ½ of the warmed milk mixture into the eggs while whisking. Then pour back into the medium pot continuing to whisk.

4. Add your cake flour to the pot and stir until ingredients are well combined.

5. Lastly add the shortening mixture and whisk briefly to combine. Pour into prepared cake pan. Place sliced plums ontop of batter how ever you like and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the plums.

6. Bake approximately 30-35 minutes or until cake is starting to pull away from sides of the pan. Once done baking imediately remove from pan and let cool on a sheet tray with parchment. Enjoy with some ice cream or whipped cream!!
