Combine in slow cooker:
2 (15.5 oz) cans small Great Northern or navy beans undrained.
¼ cup water
2 (4 oz) cans chopped green chili peppers, undrained
4 medium green onions, chopped
⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
3 or 4 Tbsp taco seasoning
Mix well.
Add 1½ lb skinless boneless chicken breast halves (or chopped in small pieces)
Cook on high 5 to 6 hours or on low 8-10 hours.
For the Instant Pot cook 20 minutes on high and use a quick release.
Shred chicken with two forks, if not chopped.
Serve with sour cream, sliced avocado, shredded pepper jack, and cilantro.
Serves 4 to 6 Can freeze up to 3 months
