Filling

6 grimes golden apples
2/3 c sugar
1/1 t.cinnamon
2 T. flour
2 T.butter

Crust:
3 cups flour
1 cup shortening (Crisco )
add enough water to hold together

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples and rest of ingredients . Put aside .

Dough

Mix and cut dough into 4 sections. Pie two of the four pieces together on a non-greased cookie sheets, by rolling out and laying then the pan and pressing dough together to seal. Set the oath two pieces aside . Push up on the sides and moisten with water. Place apples in crust. then roll out the other two dough pieces and place on top of apples and pinch sides. cut a few slits on top.

bake at 350º for about one hour.
Frost with powdered sugar glaze.
