1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
2 c. sugar
4 T. flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine. Add sugar, flour, salt, eggs, vanilla and
buttermilk. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 1 hour uncovered (or a little
longer) at 325º until top of pie is golden in color.

This beloved recipe came from my Granny - Wanda Willson Webb. I make this pie every year at Thanksgiving to honor her memory (and because everyone loves it!), although my husband likes it best for breakfast with coffee on the day after Thanksgiving.
