Brownies:

1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup maraschino cherries

Icing:

2 Tbsp butter, softened
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp cocoa
2 Tbsp milk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350

BROWNIES:

Mix flour, baking powder and salt together in small bowl.

In saucepan, melt butter.
Remove from heat and stir in cocoa till smooth.
Beat in eggs, sugar and vanilla, almond.

Stir in the flour mixture.

Pour into 9 x 9 pan x 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick or knife comes out clean.

ICING:

Blend butter, icing sugar, cocoa and milk together until smooth.
Pour over brownies when still warm.

Cool.
