1 (1lb 14oz bag) Cubed hash browns
Sour cream
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (10.75 ounce) can of condensed cream of chicken soup
1 ((8ounce) container sour cream
1/2 chopped onion
2 cups shredded sharp cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup (or more) crushed potato chips (I use Lays)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. In large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, onion, cheese, salt, garlic and pepper. Place mixture in a 2 quart casserole dish.
3. In a separate bowl combine potato chips with a little melted butter. Just enough to coat them. Not to much that they get soggy. I repeat this until I have enough to cover the amount of casserole Iím making. Sprinkle on top.
4. Bake for 40-45 minutes

My kiddos are not big fans of sour cream but they love this casserole. Itís a family favorite! I donít always go exactly by these measurements 😉 for example, my family LOVES cheese, so I do extra 😋 This recipe can definitely be modified. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as mine does!
