1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Shortening
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Egg Beaten
1 Cup Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Peanut Butter & Shortening together adding Brown & Granulated Sugar gradually continuing to cream until light fluffy..
Sift flour & Soda together blending well.. Mix gradually with the beaten egg to the creamed mixture until mixed well together ..do not over mix

Drop a teaspoon of dough on a greased cookie sheet using a fork to press the top of the dough in a crisscross pattern

Bake @ 350º for 12 -15 minutes

Peanut Butter Cookies are my favorite !!! Delicately crunchy they get better with time .. (If they last that long ). Try crunchy Peanut Butter if you want a variation of the original.
