2 sticks butter
2 cups flour
½ cup oatmeal
½ cup + 1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup chopped nuts
2 cups caramel ice cream topping
½ gallon ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and mix with flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, salt and nuts. Pat onto large cookie sheet & bake at 350º for 15 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool & crumble. Butter a large pyrex dish and add crumbs until they are ¼ inch thick. Pour a large jar of caramel ice cream topping over crumbs (about 2 cups). Add ½ gallon vanilla ice cream and top with remaining crumbs. Freeze.
