1 quart sliced cucumbers Sliced onions 1 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
Cover cucumber, onions and salt with water; let set for 2 hours. Drain well. Add sugar and vinegar. Put in plastic bag. Refrigerate overnight. Marinade for a day. Freeze; take out about 2 hours before serving.
