1 cup flour
21/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup raisins

1 cup hot water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional: Add more hot water to make more sauce.

Directions:
Directions:
Place in buttered baking dish add the first 6 ingredients. Then pour the last 5 ingredients on top.
Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.

I never add extra water.
I soak raisins in hot water until edges turn white.
