Directions:
In a large pot, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Toss is the diced onions, minced garlic and diced peppers. Sauté a few minutes until they start to soften. Add chopped jalapeños. Season to taste and let simmer a couple more minutes. Add some red wine (whatever you have open, however much you feel like). After it's reduced a bit, add crushed tomatoes and beans. Add a bit of stock (or water if you don't have stock) to create a nice consistency. Stir and turn heat on low.

Simultaneously...

In a cast iron skillet (or large pan), heat some oil and once hot begin browning ground beef. Season with salt, pepper and cumin. Halfway through, toss in a bit of Guinness and let reduce while meat finishes cooking. Add all contents of pan to the other pot. Repeat same steps with ground turkey and then add it to the other pot as well. Also add whatever Guinness you have left.

Reduce a bit and continue seasoning until happy. Sometimes I add some hot sauce, just depends on my mood!
