1 pound butter
2 pounds brown sugar
16oz light corn syrup
2 cans Eagle condensed milk
tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy 3qt sauce pan, melt butter, sugar and salt. Stir in corn syrup. Mix well stirring constantly. Add milk while constantly stirring over medium heat. Cook for about 25-30 minutes or till firm ball stage or 245.

Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into well buttered 11x13 stoneware or glass pan. Cool 4-5 hours, cut to desired sizes and wrap with candy wrappers.

I use a large ulu type pizza cutter to cut pieces.

Candy thermometer is a must!!
