2 quart peeled, thinly sliced cucumbers 1 TBS. Salt 3 cups sugar 1 cup vinegar
Sprinkle salt over cucumber slices and allow to stand for 2 hrs. Drain. Boil the sugar and vinegar. Cool. Arrange cucumber slices in containers, cover with cooled syrup. Freeze in small butter tubs. As containers thaw, you can serve.
