1½ cup boiling water
1 cup rolled oats
1 tsp. salt
⅓ cup light molasses
1½ TBS. oil
1 pkg. yeast
¼ cup warm water
4 - 4½ cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Add salt, stir and cool to luke warm. Dissolve yeast in warm water, then add molasses, oil, and dissolved yeast to oatmeal mixture, gradually add flour until dough is stiff enough to handle.Kneed dough on lightly floured board, about 15 min. until smooth and elastic.
Place dough into lightly oiled bowl. turning to coat all sides of dough with oil. Cover with clean cloth and let rise until double. Punch down the dough, and knead again. Shape into loaf and put into well oiled bread pan. Cover and let rise again, (about 1 hr,)
Bake at 350º for 50 min.
