Lasagna Recipe

Meat Sauce:
1/2# sweet sausage
1/2# hot sausage
garlic powder
1 T. whole basil
1-1/2 t. salt
1# can tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 sm. can water

Cheese Filling:
3 c. ricotta
1/2 c. Parmesan
2 T. parsley flakes
2 eggs, beaten
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1# Mozzarella, grated
1 box grated lasagna noodles

Squeeze sausage out of skin and brown slowly. Spoon off fat. Add remaining sauce ingredients. Simmer uncovered 1/2 hour.

In separate bowl, mix filling ingredients. Cook lasagna noodles.

Place half the cooked noodles in a 13x9x2 pan. Spread with half the filling, then layer half the Mozzarella, then half the meat sauce. Repeat the layers. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
