1/2 medium onion chopped
one bunch gr onion..divided tops from bottoms
4 cloves garlic chopped
2 tsp ginger (more if you like)
5 cups chicken broth
2 tsp star anise seeds
2 tbsp soy sauce
Then add:
1 cup green beans
1 cup cubed pork or chicken
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1.5 cups baby bok choy, chopped
1 package shirataki noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Put all from first group except onion tops in IP Ace blender and cook on soup 1 (chunky). At 14 minutes add green beans and pork (or chicken). Then with 4.5 minutes left add mushrooms, bok choy and noodles. Finish cooking. Remove star anise. Garnish with green onion and a few chili flakes, if desired.

Rinse shirataki noodles well. I rub them together under cold water. Then cover with lots of water and cook 5 minutes in microwave.
