Ingredients: 3/4 c ground almonds very fine
1/4 c flour
1/4 c butter
1/3 c sugar
5 tbls heavy cream
1/2 c grated orange zest or 1/4 c zest and
about 6 teas of orange extract if using 1/4
c zest
TOPPING
4 oz semisweet chocolate
3 tbls butter

Directions: |
Directions:1. combine flour and almonds
2. in saucepan, combine butter, sugar, cream and bring to boil.
remove from heat and gradually blend in dry ingredients.
Stir in orange zest and extract. Mixture will be very thin.
3. On lightly greased and floured cookie sheet drop the batter by
tablespoon 3 inches apart. With the back of a floured spoon spread
batter into 2 in rounds.
4. Bake for 12 - 15 min untill edges brown and centers still look
bubbly. Cool on baking sheet untill u can remove safely to wire rack
TOPPING
melt chocolate and butter in microwave 30 secs at a time, keep checking
and stiring till smooth
take a cooled cookie and turn upside down and with pastry brush
paint the bottom with chocalate. let set |
