Personal Notes:
This is Guy’s favorite cookies. The recipe is from his maternal grandmother and the only thing I added was the addition of the sugar on top. I started using green and red sprinkles when I first made them in 2013, in 2018 Cody gave me a five pound bucket of sanding sugar which is just bigger crystals of white sugar that he got from McDonald’s because they were discontinuing blueberry muffins that they baked in store. Ever since I have used that when I make them in times other than Christmas and use it with the colored sprinkles when I make them for Christmas. These are also very popular with the family. Guy and I would make ice cream sandwiches with them and they were bomb!
