Chocolate Mint Cake Recipe

4 Eggs Separated
4 unsweetened chocolate squares melted
1 t unflavored gelatin
c sugar
t salt
c hot water
3 pints of whipping cream
1 angel food cake
1 T Peppermint Flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Follow the directions on the cake box for cooking the cake. Let cool.

Melt gelatin in the hot water. (it will harden quickly so do this right before you mix into everything)

Whip egg white with sugar and salt to stiff peaks, add mint. Add beaten egg yolks to that, add in chocolate and gelatin mix.

Whip all of the whipping cream

Rip up the cake into small pieces. Layer cake, whipped cream, chocolate mixture. Top with the remainder of the whipped cream. (you can use food coloring if you want to have a fun color.)

This recipe is pretty hard just because you have to do all of it at once. So, knowing that do all you can prep ahead of time to put it all together.
