1 ½ cups Corn meal
½ cup Flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Cracklins
2 ea Eggs
1½ cup Buttermilk
⅛ cup lard/oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Dry ingredients. Add Eggs and Buttermilk. Grease cast Iron Skillet. preheat in oven pour batter in hot skillet. . Bake at 450ºF for 15 minutes remove from oven. brush or spray oil/lard onto top and return to oven until top is brown. You may need broil top to get it brown if bread is not done in 22 minutes total time cooking.
