2 C. Sugar
1 C. Flour
4 Eggs
8 oz Chocolate
2 Sticks Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
Confectioner Sugar for Top

Preheat Oven º325

Mix Sugar and flour together in bowl.
Add Beaten eggs - Mix till smooth
In separate microwavable dish -
Melt together Butter and Chocolate
(2 min 30 sec in microwave- stirring well)
Add to sugar/flour mixture.
Add Vanilla
Mix all ingredients till smooth.
Butter a 9” x 13 “ pan Pour batter into pan.
Bake 38-42 minutes.
(Depending on ovens)
test with toothpicks-clean toothpick for doneness- 38 min for fudgy brownies-
Remove from oven to cool. Then strain powder sugar ontop of cooked brownies! Cut into squares. Freeze right away to keep fudgy taste if you don't plan on eating them right away. They stay fresh and fudgy right out of the freezer!!

My grandmother’s recipe that i found out many years after she passed it turned out to be a well known published recipe on a box that she slightly changed to make it her own. My father loved these and i baked them regularly for him! These brownies were baked by others in the family!
