saltine crackers ( approximately 24 )
½ lb. butter ( 2 sticks )
1 cup brown sugar
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Line a 9" X 13" pan with aluminum foil. Cover bottom of pan with layer of saltines. In sauce pan on the stove, combine 2 sticks of butter with 1 cup of light brown sugar over medium heat. Stir continuously until butter melts. Once it boils, boil mixture for 3 minutes, stirring constantly ( mixture will thicken ). Pour mixture over crackers. Put in oven and bake for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate morsels over crackers. After you see that the morsels have softened form the heat, spread them out with knife. Put " Pine Bark " in refrigerator over night. Peel back the foil and break bark into pieces.
