1/2 c shortening 1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter 2 eggs
2 3/4 C flour 2 t Cream of tartar
1 t baking soda 1/4 t salt
Directions:
Directions:
mix shortening, butter, sugar and eggs together
Shift together and stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt
roll dough into balls the size of walnuts
roll in mix of 2 T sugar and 2 t cinnamon
place 2 " apart on an un-greased baking sheet
bake at 400 for 8-10 min or until lightly brown but still soft
(These cookies puff up at first but then flatten out)
