1 c. Butter (2 sticks)
2 c. Sugar (granulated)
4 Eggs
½ c. Buttermilk
1 tsp. Vanilla
¼ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Soda (mix with buttermilk)
3 ½ c AP Flour
1 8 oz. Package Dates (chopped)
2 c. Coconut
2 c. Pecans (chopped)
½ lbs. Orange Slice Candies (chopped)

Glaze:
1 c. Orange Juice
2 c. Confectioners Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition. Add salt and vanilla. Use 1 c of flour to coat fruit, dates, coconut, and nuts. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to creamed mixture alternating with the flour, blending well. Add orange slice candies, dates, nuts, and coconut Fold into cake batter.

Spray Bundt pan with with a oil spray that contains flour. Coat well.

Bake in greased Bundt pan at 300 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes.
Remove from oven. While cake is still hot and in the pan, pour glaze over cake. Let sit overnight. Place a plate over cake, then holding the plate and cake together, flip it over. You may need to give it a few minutes to release. Enjoy!

While cake is baking make the glaze.
Glaze:
Mix Orange Juice with sugar. Bring to a rolling boil. Pour over cake.
