2 c. brown sugar
½ c. melted margarine
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine; add eggs, flour and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add nuts; pour into 9" x 13" baking dish. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes.

For variation: Omit nuts and add ¾ c. peanut butter.
