2 c. white flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ baking soda
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
¼ c. butter flavored shortening
3 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º.
(Butter, buttermilk and mayonnaise - cold)
In a large bowl add flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and sugar.
Cut in butter flavored shortening.
Grate in butter.
Stir in buttermilk.
Flour coat a work surface.
Fold flour into dough.
Pat into 1 inch thick rectangle.
Cut out biscuits. Add mayo to top.
Bake 14 minutes.
Add butter after.
