1/2 C melted butter
2 Cups sugar
1/2 Cup Sorgum
2 eggs
4 Cups Flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder original recipe calls for 4 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of ginger
1 tsp of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together and form into balls. dip the balls into granulated sugar, or colored sugars. Place on greased cookie sheets. Cookies flatten as they bake.
Bake at 350º oven for about 10 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown.

This is Josh's favorite cookie recipe. I buy sorgum syrup from AJs fine foods in Arizona. It is called Uncle Steves Sorgum syrup, but you can get some from Amazon, possibly Trader Joes.
