6 1/2 to 7 Cups of flour
1 to 1 1/2 tsp ground Cardomom
3 eggs
1 Cup of milk
1 Cup of water
2 packs of yeast
1 cube of oleo, i am thinking crisco, or the equivalent in vegetable oil

Glaze
1 Tbs of butter
1 Tbs of hot coffee
1/2 Cup of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Soak yeast in water (make sure the water is warm) for 10 minutes
Scald milk and add oleo/crisco, set aside to cool.
Combine flour with salt. beat eggs with the sugar, then add the mixture to the flour, then add the yeast mixture to this alternating with the milk until the ingredients are combined. kneed the dough, adding more flour if needed until the dough leaves the side of the pan. Let rise 1 hour in a warm place. Kneed dough , divide into two , cut each half into three. Roll each piece as long as a cookie sheet. Braid them or make into buns. Makes two braided loaves. Bake 30 minutes in 350 oven, then spread with the glaze and bake 10 more minutes.
