2 cups sugar
¼ cup butter
½ cup lard
½ cup brown sugar
½-1 tsp anise seed
¼ tsp cloves
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp allspice
¼ tsp pepper
¼ lb pecans
¼ cup coffee
4½ cups flour
1½ tsp baking powder

Make stiff dough. Let stand 3 days
Roll into small walnut sized balls
Bake 350º 15 minutes

Store in airtight container
