1 c butter (unsalted works best )
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate - chopped into chunks
5 mac daddy sized eggs or 6 average eggs
2 1/4 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 c nuts ( up to you but I love walnuts )

Frosting
1/2 c butter
2 more ounces of chopped chocolate
1/4 cup hersheys cocoa powder
about 1/4 cup plus a wee bit more milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 + c powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat over to 350
Butter /spray a 9x13 pan.If you have parchement, put a layer down to make it easier to remove and cut the brownies

Melt the butter and chocolate, add the vanilla and set aside to cool

Now just wet into dry, stir in the melted chocolate
If adding nuts, do that now

Spread in the pan, and bake for 30 minutes
Turn the pan after 15 minutes so it bakes evenly

Frosting - so easy
Melt the chocolate and butter, stir in the cocoan powder and milk. Let cool

When ready put this in a stand mixer, and add the powdered sugar little at a time on low until all mixed in, then turn up the power to high and beat till nice and smooth.
