Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls with Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze Recipe

Ingredients: 2 tsp. instant yeast 1/4 C. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1/4 C. water 3/4 C. milk 1/2 C. butter softened 3 1/4 C. flour
1 21 oz. can strawberry pie filling 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. sugar

Directions:In a small pan heat milk and butter. Stir until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Let stand until luke warm. In a large bowl whisk together 2 1/4 C. flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the egg and water and mix until just starting to combine. Slowly add milk mixture while stirring. Stir in flour mixture 1 C. at a time. Let rest. Dump onto floured surface. Roll into 9x15 rectangle about 1/4-1/2 in. thick. Spread pie filling evenly on top. In small bowl combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top of filling. Roll up into a log and pinch the seams. Cut into 9-12 slices. Place in greased 9x13 cake pan and cover with damp cloth. Let rise 30 mine. Preheat oven to 375º. Bake for 30 min until just golden brown on top. Cover with Lemon Cream Cheese Glaze while still warm. |
