1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Sift dry ingredients over butter. Whip at low speed until blended, then on high speed until mixture is like whipped cream. Drop by small teaspoons on baking sheet. Dot with a cherry. Bake for 20 minutes, watching closely.
