Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 oz Macaroni - cooked al dente and drained
2 TBS oil
1 (13 oz) Can Evaporated Milk
1/1/2 C Milk
1 TSP Salt
3 C Shredded Cheese (Mostly cheddar but I many time add swiss, parm or colby along with it)
1/4 C Butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni, drain and toss in the 2 TBS oil. Mix everything together in crock pot and put on low. Cook for at least 4 hours, or until it's the consistency that you like your mac and cheese. I generally stir it a couple of times.

Also: I typically make a double batch for family gatherings.

I've also cooked this in the oven at 250º

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I originally got this recipe from David and Marsh VanGilder (Marsh was his first wife before Celeste), before Abigail was born. The first time I made it Carl and Danielle were so used to boxed Kraft Mac and Cheese that they hated it. I didn't make if again for years. Finally once, after I married Terry, I decided to try again. The rest is history. As you all know this is a must have for any family gathering.
