1 Box Butter Flavored Cake Mix
2 (6 ) Oz. pkg. Frozen Coconut
2 Cups granulated Sugar
1 (16) Oz. Carton Sour Cream
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip ( slightly thawed)

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake according to directions. 2 - 8" layers. When cool, split layers making 4 layers.
In a medium bowl, combine sugar, sour cream & coconut. Blend well. Reserve 1 cup mixture for frosting. Spread remaining mixture between layers of cake, thick. Combine the 1 cup mixture with the cool whip and frost top and sides. Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days before serving.
