4 baked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, shredded
2 cups chopped celery
1 small white onion, chopped
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup grated carrots
1 tbsp salt
1 pkg dumpling noodles

1/2 cup butter
6 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup white wine

Directions:
Directions:
Bake chicken. Cool and shred. Combine chicken broth, celery, onion, carrots and salt. Bring to boil. Add dumpling noodles and cook until tender, stirring so noodles don’t stick together. Add shredded chicken. In a small saucepan melt butter. Slowly add flour stirring until smooth roux is made. Slowing add milk and stir until well blended. Add wine. Pour mixture into soup and stir well. Let simmer at least 30 minutes. If you don’t want to make the soup the creamy version, leave out the last steps.
