1 block (350g) firm or extra-firm tofu, pressed and cut into small squares
4 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp water
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp sriracha (more or less to your preference)
1 tsp chili paste
2 tsp sesame oil
Dash of onion powder
Dash of black pepper
(For sautéing) 1 tbsp olive oil

1. Press tofu to draw out excess moisture. Cut into cubes.
2. Combine marinade ingredients in a medium Tupperware bowl. Add cubed tofu. Stir or lightly shake to coat. Marinate for 2 hours (stirring/shaking halfway through). Don't skip this step.
3. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated tofu cubes and remaining marinade to pan and cook, turning tofu as needed, until all sides are golden-brown and crisp on all sides.

Throw these on a salad of spring mix, carrots, red cabbage, avocado, tomato, cucumber, and serve with a sesame dressing.
