½ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
¼ cup milk
1½ cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup seedless raisins
1-⅔ cup quick oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together thoroughly shortening, sugar, eggs and milk. Blend in flour sifted with baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir in raisins and oats.
2. Drop by teaspoons on to greased baking sheet. Bake in moderately hot oven, 375ºF about 12 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.
