2 ½ cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
½ tsp. Ground Allspice
½ tsp. Salt
¾ cup Margarine, melted
⅓ cup Molasses
1 Egg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, soda, spices and salt.

In cup, mix margarine and molasses; stir in egg. Stir margarine mixture into flour until dough forms. Shape into little balls the size of a walnut. Put on a non-stick greased cookie sheet.

Take a water glass and dip the bottom in a small bowl of water then into small bowl of sugar. The sugar will stick to the bottom of the glass, then press the glass down on cookies to flatten to ¼ inch thickness.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes
