3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. Crisco butter flavor shortening
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 T. milk
1 T. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 3/4 c. self rising flour

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375ºF. Coat baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Beat peanut butter, shortening, sugars, milk and vanilla extract in large bowl with mixer on medium speed until well blended. Beat in egg.

Gradually add flour to creamed mixture, beating just until blended. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly using a crisscross pattern using tines of a fork.

Bake 7 - 8 minutes until set and slightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
