½ lb. mozzarella cheese, grated
2 lb. carton cottage cheese
2 eggs, beaten
½ c. parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
¼ tsp. pepper
1 pkg. manicotti noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
1 tbsp. crushed basil
1 (14 0z.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste



Directions:

Cook manicotti shells until soft. Rinse with cold water. Mix mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, sugar and pepper together. Stuff manicotti shells with mixture. Place in a 9X13 baking dish.

Cook ground beef in skillet until browned, drain. Add spaghetti sauce mix, basil, tomato sauce ( rinse can with water, add to mixture), and tomato paste. Mix together and simmer until thickens. Pour over manicotti.

Bake at 350º for half hour.
