Personal Notes:
Aunt Mary was momma's daddy's sister and momma's nanny. She would fondly speak of Aunt Mary - said she was a "sweetheart" - and her recipes.

Side note: when I asked Momma to confirm that Aunt Mary was her nanny, she shared with me that Aunt Mary bought her her first bra. Aunt Mary came to see how it fit, and Momma was so embarrassed that she took off running through the corn fields. She said she would catch field mice and hang them by their tails, and she said they would "squeak" and that they were so precious. Ah, the good ole days...such fond memories.
