Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg. lasagna noodles
Olive oil
1 lb. ground meat (my mom always used beef, I like to use ground turkey or chicken
1 jar pasta sauce of your choice (I sometimes like to add extra sauce)
1 med. yellow onion
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
Ricotta cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Boil noodles as directed. Add olive oil to water to prevent noodles from sticking together (or you can use the no-cook kind).

Chop and sauté onion in olive oil until translucent. Add garlic and cook for a few minutes. Add and cook the meat until finished. Add pasta sauce to the meat mixture.

Spray a large oblong baking/casserole dish with cooking spray.

Place a layer of noodles in the bottom of the pan. Spread meat sauce mixture evenly over layer. Drop evenly spaced dollops of ricotta cheese over noodle and sauce layer. Sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese.

Repeat, making 3 to 4 layers (depending on how deep your dish is), ending with mozzarella cheese on top. You may have leftover noodles.

Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for about an hour. Remove foil and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Return to oven for about 10 mins. or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My mom made lasagna a lot but she made her own pasta/tomato sauce. I don't have that kind of patience! You can bake uncovered but the ends of the noodles tend to overcook/get crispy. Some people like that. this is the first time I've ever written this recipe down...it's in my head...so I hope I haven't left something out!
