1 lb green beans, ends trimmed
1/2 tsp. olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp/pinch freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add green beans and cook until bright green and tender-crsip, one to two minutes. Remove green beans from boiling water and submerge in a large bowl of ice water. Using tongs, remove from cold water and drain in colander.

2. Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until soft but not brown, about 3 minutes.

3. Add drained green beans to pan, toss to combine and heat through. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
