1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oatmeal
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 T. cocoa
2 lg. eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350. Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand 10 minutes. Add brown and white sugars, cocoa and margarine. Stir until margarine is melted. Add eggs, flour, soda, salt and 3/4 c. chocolate chips. Mix well. Pour into well greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with nuts and remaining 3/4 c. chocolate chips. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
