2 cups elbow macaroni
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. white pepper
2½ cups milk
2 cups sharp cheddar shredded cheese
1 sleeve of Ritz crackers

Directions:

Boil macaroni until al dente.

Reserve half the cheese. Grease a baking pan and layer macaroni, cheese, macaroni, cheese.

Add butter, flour, spices, milk and reserved cheese to a pot and melt on low heat. Stir until fully incorporated.

Pour white sauce over the layers. Add crushed Ritz crackers on top, with small pats of butter for moisture.

Cover with foil and bake at 350ºF for 40-60 minutes. Take foil off for the last 10 minutes to crisp the cracker crust.
